Beschreibung

The Decentlab DL-BLG is a specialized LoRaWAN®-enabled sensor designed for precise radiant temperature monitoring and heat stress evaluation. Built around a 152 mm hollow copper sphere painted black, it accurately measures radiant heat, providing critical data for calculating the Wet-Bulb Globe Temperature (WBGT) index. This robust solution is engineered for long-term, unattended operation in challenging outdoor and industrial climates.

Core Capabilities

Accurate Radiant Heat Measures radiant temperature from -5°C to +95°C with ±0.3°C precision. Rugged Engineering Weatherproof IP67 enclosure with impact and UV resistance for extreme environments. Extended Field Life Operates for up to 11.7 years on 2x standard alkaline C-type batteries. Plug & Play Ready-to-use with simple mounting and configuration via CLI or downlink.

Industrial Applications

• Occupational Health & Safety: Monitor workplace heat stress to ensure compliance and worker safety in industrial sites. • Meteorological Research: Professional-grade radiant heat data collection for climate and environmental studies. • Outdoor Event Safety: Real-time heat index monitoring for large public gatherings and sporting complexes.

Technical Integration

The DL-BLG utilizes LoRaWAN® Class A technology for encrypted, long-range transmissions over 10km. It is compatible with all major network servers, including The Things Stack, ChirpStack, and Actility.
