Kerlink Wirnet™ iFemtoCell-evolution | Indoor LoRaWAN Gateway with Cellular Communication
Beschreibung
The Kerlink Wirnet iFemtoCell-evolution is an elite indoor LoRaWAN® gateway with internal 3G/4G cellular plus Ethernet backhaul, engineered for smart cities, smart buildings, and large-scale metering. It delivers superior coverage in the most demanding environments — basements, underground car parks, elevator shafts — making it ideal for connecting energy meters, parking sensors, and equipment actuators.
Built on the proven Wirnet i-Series platform with built-in high-rejection filters and a hardware-secured Trustzone architecture, it pairs reliable RF performance with operational excellence. Zero-touch provisioning, an embedded ChirpStack server, and the Kerlink Wanesy™ Management Center make it quick to deploy and easy to operate at scale.
Core Capabilities
Superior LoRa Radio Built on Semtech Reference Design v1.5, with 8-channel RX (125 kHz, multi-SF) plus 250/500 kHz, FSK, and TX channels — 10 RX + 1 TX. Rx sensitivity down to −140 dBm (SF12), Tx 5–24 dBm, 27 dBm EIRP, with built-in high-rejection filters and LBT. Internal 4G + Ethernet Backhaul A worldwide 4G module with 3G/2G fallback (mini-SIM) and 10/100 Ethernet (RJ45), with an integrated LTE antenna. The Ethernet/Wi-Fi/4G variant (IFE07) adds Wi-Fi backhaul. Hardware-Grade Security A Trustzone-based secure core with SecureBoot (signed firmware), SecureStorage via ProvenCore™, and OpenVPN/IPsec backhaul protection, plus watchdog recovery to a known-good configuration. Easy to Deploy & Manage Zero-touch provisioning and maintenance (ZTP/ZTM), an embedded ChirpStack network server, and the Wanesy™ Management Center with Web GUI. Powered from AC/DC or 5 V USB-C, with optional UPS autonomy.Typical Applications
• Smart Buildings & Facilities: Deep-indoor coverage for basements, car parks, and elevator shafts — connecting meters, sensors, and actuators. • Smart Energy & Metering: Reliably back-haul energy, water, and sub-metering data over cellular or Ethernet. • Smart Cities & Public Operators: Densify public or private networks indoors where outdoor gateways can't reach. • Smart Agriculture & Industry: Indoor connectivity for farm buildings, warehouses, and industrial facilities.Choosing Your Variant
| Model | Backhaul | Best For |
|---|---|---|
| PDTIOT-IFE03 (EU868) | Ethernet + 4G | Most indoor sites — wired plus cellular backhaul. |
| PDTIOT-IFE07 (EU868) | Ethernet + Wi-Fi + 4G | Sites that also need Wi-Fi backhaul flexibility. |
Both variants are EU868 (covering EU863-870, IN865-867, RU864-870). All units include the internal 3G/4G module with 2G fallback.
